Vision
Every African child with cleft lip and palate will receive quality, prompt, and comprehensive treatment by highly qualified professionals.

Mission
Create awareness about cleft, provide opportunities for cleft practitioners to interact and learn from each other, and advocate for material and financial support for cleft related activities.

History
The first Congress of cleft lip and palate practitioners took place in 2005 in Ibadan Nigeria. This was followed by another Congress at the same venue in 2007 where PAACLIP was officially launched after the adoption of a constitution. The next Conference of the Association was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in February 2009. All these previous meetings have been made possible through the generous support of Smile Train.
