Call for Abstracts

The scientific committee for PAACLIP conference invites for abstract submission during her 5th Scientific and Annual Conference holding from 18th to 21st November, 2024 in Zimbabwe.

Theme: Cleft Care in Africa: Reorganization and Repositioning for Excellence.

Sub themes:

* Cross country collaboration in care provision: challenges and opportunities.

* Investigating the genetic and environmental influences of orofacial clefts in Africa.

* Application of digital advances in resources limited settings.

* Improving public enlightenment and patient education on available care.

Abstracts for Oral presentation or Poster Presentations are accepted and may be in English or French, should be original and should not have been published or accepted for publication prior to submission.

Abstract should be a maximum of 300 words and formatted as follows:

- Title of Paper (not more than 20 words)

- Background and Aim

- Methods

- Results

- Conclusions

- Maximum of 5 Keywords

Accepted abstracts will be made into presentations to be delivered at the conference venue. Accepted abstracts will also be published in the conference proceedings. All abstracts for the conference must be submitted electronically by uploading a Microsoft word version of the abstract to either of these emails: [email protected] or [email protected]

Authors may submit more than one abstract. Notification of acceptance and further instructions will be communicated via email.

Abstract submission opens: 1st March 2024 and Closes: 31st May 2024
